Computer Literacy
Test Information:
You were selected for Computer Literacy testing based on your major. Your Computer Literacy Test score is used to place you in your first semester of courses for your major. The Computer Literacy test contains 70 questions. The test is untimed, but most students complete the test in under 1 hour. Computer Literacy testing is available on site at the Computer Based Testing in Schrank Hall North Room 152. To schedule your test please visit:

Taking the Computer Literacy Test on Campus
STEP 1: Schedule your appointment at
STEP 2: Bring the following items with you to complete testing.
- Valid Photo ID: you can use a driver’s license, temps, state ID, passport, or school ID for identification.
- Testing Email: Please have a copy of your testing email with you to verify your testing requirement.
STEP 3: Plan your trip: Below are addresses for Computer Based Testing and closest parking option.
- Computer Based Testing: Schrank Hall North Room 152 (264 Carroll St. Akron, OH 44325)
- Parking: You will use the Orientation & First-Year Programming Parking Link provided in the email you received from your Advising Department. If you need the link, please contact placement.testing@uakron.edu.
- South Campus Parking Deck Lot 36 (261 E Exchange Akron, OH 44304) is the recommended lot.
STEP 4: Arrive and take your Test!
