Test Information:

You were selected for reading testing based on your ACT/SAT scores or test-optional application. Your reading test score is used to place you in your first semester of courses for your major. The test contains 20 multiple choice questions. The test is untimed, but most students complete the test in under one hour. Reading testing is available on site at Computer Based Testing in Schrank Hall North Room 152. To schedule your test please visit:

Taking the Reading Test on Campus:

• Valid Photo ID: you can use a driver’s license, temps, state ID, passport, or school ID for identification.
• Testing Email: Please have a copy of your testing email with you to verify your testing requirement.

  • South Campus Parking Deck Lot 36 (261 E Exchange Akron, OH 44304) is the recommended lot.
